Surrounded by family, Michael Galvan III departed this life to be with his Lord on August 16, 2019 at the age of 65. Michael was born on October 31, 1953 in Greenville South Carolina to Michael Jr and Maria Galvan. He is survived by his parents, his beautiful wife of 35 years Patricia, son Michael Galvan IV, daughter Alyssa Bonet and her husband Richard, and his grandchildren Michael Galvan V, Ryan Ramos, Rhiannon Galvan, Brandon Bonet, and Isabella Bonet. Michael had a 37 year career with the U. S. Air Force, both as an enlisted member and as a civil servant. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and loyal friend that will be so dearly missed.
Visitation for Mr. Galvan will be held on Sunday, August 25th from 4-7pm with a 5pm Rosary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 26th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 9:45am. Following the Mass, burial will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full U.S. Military Honors to commemorate Mr. Galvan’s dedication for his many years of service to the U.S. Air Force.
