She is preceded in passing by her husband, Joseph Blackmon Jr. and one great granddaughter
She is survived by her 2 children: James O. Blackmon (Kathy) and Margaret Blackmon Scott, her grandchildren: Linda St. John (Howard), Wade Scott, Eric Scott, Claudia Conley and Joshua Blackmon (Jackie). Along with her 13 great grandchildren, siblings Alice Bryant and H.E. McCaslin, along with many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
She loved the Lord, and is finally reunited with him.

A visitation for Mary will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM, in the Sunset Memorial Park
