Mark Anthony Rodriguez

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark Anthony Rodriguez at the age of 42. Born in San Antonio, Texas on February 5, 1982 to Yolanda Gonzales. Mark graduated Class of 2000 from Harlandale High School. Following graduation, Mark worked for Champion for over 10 loyal years.

Mark’s interests varied from playing pool and loteria to watching movies and tv shows, a few of his favorites being Pitch Perfect and The Office, and his home was always filled with his favorite country music, which brought him great joy and comfort. If Mark wasn’t able to be found enjoying those hobbies, he could be found cracking jokes while spending quality time with his family, his main joy.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Yolanda Gonzales; grandparents, Gloria and Felix Martinez, and Juan Gonzales; father-in-law, Mario Maya.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Maya; children, Marcus, Serenity (Skyla), Nathaniel, Kaedance, and Mariah; siblings, Jesus Rodriguez Jr. and Manuel Lopez; aunts, Jenna (Crispin), Clara, Irene, and Mary Jane (Maria); uncles, Juan (Elsa) and Robert; mother-in-law, Francis (Steve); amongst many more family members and beloved friends.

A visitation for Mark will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a rosary service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
