Marina Casanova Villarreal, age 78, passed away on July 23, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 11, 1943 in Poteet, Texas. Marina was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Marina was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Villarreal; and she was the last surviving of her sisters and brother. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Emilio Villarreal; her children, Debra Ramirez (Jeff), and Tammy Chapa (Diego); 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her precious dog, Misty.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29th from 6-8 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 30th at 10:00 am at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
