Marie Annabelle Martinez, born May 3, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Creator on October 27, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Martinez and daughter Michele Meyers. Marie is survived by her son Richard C.P. Martinez(Katy), daughter Margaret (Margie) Ann Silva (Marcellus), daughter Rita M. Pike, son Ted Martinez (Lynn); Brother Paul Levesque (Linda), sister Lucy Vega(Tex), 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Tx, 78218 from 5:30-9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest, San Antonio, Tx, 78209 at 1 pm with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
