She was also very giving, as I have heard that when her children were small their friends would come over to play. While they were there she would take them in and care for them as if they were her own.  I believe that this speaks volumes for someone like this

My mother in law was also a person of faith, as I understand the cathedral where we are having her service was a special place to her as this was her place of worship.  I can still recall the Sunday’s when my wife would called her saying that she was viewing the mass at St. Fernando and to please call her back once it was finished.  I should also mention that this was also a special place to her as this is where her youngest child was married.

Many people are not to fond of their mother in laws, but I am not one of them. My mother in law was always very respectful of my marriage to her daughter as I am sure she was too with the rest of her children.  So to say that I personally miss her dearly is a great understatement. 

Today we should be rejoicing because we know that she is enjoying her time in the presence of our creator, I truly believe that with everything that she experienced in life she has earned her wings in heaven .   We should keep in mind that even though we may not see her, as long as we have her memory, we will always feel her presence.  



Maria Reyes was a mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend that was loved by everyone that surrounded her.  She was a strong willed lady with character and good convictions.  

She was very proud of her family and even though she loved her children all the same I believe she had a special place in her heart for her 7 daughters.  In my conversations that I had with her, I would noticed every time that she expressed herself about any of them she had a sense of joy and proudness in her face

My in laws had humble beginnings and made the best that they had with the resources available.  By the stories that I have heard, it appears that God was with them in every sense of the way as they were always able to provide for their family

Tia Maria descanse en Paz! No hay palabras de consuelo ante la perdida de un ser tan querido  les mandamos nuestro mas sentido pesame  a toda la familia Reyes.  Me Quedo con las buenas memorias y acciones generosas que tuve de mi Tia al extenderme su mano y apoyo en tiempos dificiles solo me queda  decirle Lo agradecido que estare  siempre  con usted  y toda su familia GRACIAS  TIA ! donde  quiera que estes. Se le va a extrañar.

Gonna miss you grandma, but knowing your no longer in pain helps ease my pain. I'm glad to know you have Grandpa and my Dad to enjoy your time with. I have so many fond memories of us going to the pulga, segunda, and out to eat. I'm glad my boys met you and that you got to see how loving they are. I will continue to think of you daily and try to figure out your scrumptious tortilla recipe. Love u always.  XOXO 😘

    Mi tía, ya está al lado del creador y desde el cielo estará velando por todos.
    En éstos momentos, no hay palabras de consuelo  que mitiguen, el gran dolor por el que ahorita están pasando. Un fuerte abrazo para todos.
