Maria Crestina Ramos

Maria Crestina Ramos Devoted Wife, Loving Mother and Caring Daughter was called home on May 18, 2014. Maria was born in San Antonio Texas on December 22nd 1949. She attended Edgewood High School and retired after a very fruitful career of 37 years at USAA. Maria “Chris” Ramos was dedicated to the Church and enjoyed working with her hands at numerous functions. She is survived by Her Mother Florinda Castro, Husband of 40 years James Ramos, Daughter Nicholette Ramos-Geigenmiller and Husband William, Son Christopher Ramos, Daughter Yvette Smith and Husband Thomas, Brother Joe Fortuna and Wife Adrienne, Sister Mary “Lizzie” Corona and Husband Juan, Grandchildren Joshua Ramos, Raven Ramos, Tommy Smith, Aiden Geigenmiller, Celeste Ramos and Jessica Smith, In-laws Robert and Maricella Ramos, Ida Burke, David and Lillian Ramos, Esther and Russ Ponce, Sandra Aguilar, Eddie Ramos and Sydney Ramos and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Maria will be missed by many and her kind words and big heart can never be filled. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22nd at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, TX 78238, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday May 23rd at St Joseph’s Catholic Church located at the Cordi Marian Sisters on 11624 W. FM 471 San Antonio, TX 78253 Procession to leave Sunset Northwest at 9:15 a.m. Friday morning and the burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
