Maria Nina Guadalupe "Lupita" Duron Cuellar

Maria Nina Guadalupe “Lupita” Duron Cuellar went to be with the Lord January 24, 2012 at the age of 85. She was born in Monte Morelos, Mexico to Guadalupe and Agedita Torres Duron. Maria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was completely dedicated to her family. She was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church where she, at one time, was part of the Guadalupanas Society. Maria loved gardening, cooking, shopping, her pets, and especially her Bunco Club which she would never miss. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 35 years, Richard J. Cuellar.

She is survived by her beloved children, Carmelo D. Cuellar and Armida Duron Cuellar (Andres Serbones); grandchildren, Iman Cuellar Serbones and Yviand J. Serbones; brothers, Jorge Duron and Rafael Garcia and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, including Ellen Brennan and Richard Mosley, Liam and Jimmy Brennan, Jenifer Robinson and Ted Cuellar.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 4PM to 8PM at Sunset Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6PM. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, 1619 S. Flores. Interment will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery.
