Maria Ascencion Medina

Maria Ascencion Medina, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, entered rest on April 15, 2012 at the age of 75. Maria was born to Manuel and Soledad Torres on August 5, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Juanita Galvan and Elena Hernandez. She is survived by her husband, Humberto D. Medina; children: Ofelia M. Puente, Daniel Medina and wife Carolyn, Graciela Morse and husband Patrick, Magdalena Medina, Carlos Medina and wife Jeannette; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Manuel Torres and wife Julia, Margarito Torres and wife Ramona, Ramon Torres and wife Rosa, Jose Antonio Torres and wife Janie, Jesus Torres and wife Lupe; sister, Julieta Torres Bonilla; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 to celebrate a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.
