Maria Refugio Gomez

Maria was a parishioner of St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church since 1968 where she faithfully served as a member of the Guadalupanas.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Ricardo; siblings: Maria Del Carmen Gracia, Pascual Macias, Alejandro Macias and Joaquin Macias; grandson: Mariano Gomez Jr.

She is survived by her children: Raul Gomez and his wife Elsa, Maria Guadalupe Burciaga, Rosemary Stuart and her husband Irwin, Mariano Gomez, Victor Manuel Gomez and his wife Sylvia and Gerardo Luis Gomez and his wife Holly; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the visitation for Maria at Roy Akers Funeral Home-515 North Main Ave. 78205- will be limited to 40 people in the building at a time. There will be a public visitation period on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 1, 2020, the Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip of Jesus at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
