Maria Dolores Apolinar

Born in San Antonio on September 7, 1962 to Maria Josephina Garcia and Salvador Lopez.

Maria devoted 33 years of her life teaching and assisting autistic children. When she wasn't spending her time there, she could be found in the kitchen maintaining her title as "Best Cook" in her family. Her love for spending time with her family and friends never went unnoticed or unappreciated.

Maria is preceded in death by her father, Salvador Lopez; mother, Maria Josephina Garcia; brothers, Salvador Lopez Jr., Raul Lopez, and Armando Lopez.

She leaves behind her presence with her beloved husband, Ernest Apolinar; her children, April Marie Apolinar, Ernest Elijah Apolinar, and Jennifer Apolinar; grandchildren, King Apolinar, Amari Gregory, Aubree Hernandez, and Israel Aceves; son-in-law, Gregory Holmes.

A Visitation for Maria will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:20 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A Mass will occur Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78251. A Graveside Service will occur Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:30 AM at San Fernando III, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
