Margaret S. Martinez went to be with our Lord on July 25, 2011 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Romo Martinez, and brother Joe Oscar Sanchez. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children; Frank Roland Martinez, Joe Oscar Martinez, Mary M. Gomez, Grandchildren; Stella Marier, Joseph Martinez, Michael Martinez, Bryan Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Sara Lara, Mark Gomez, Megan Escamilla, and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
