Marcos R. Gomez

Marcos R. Gomez, of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with our Lord on January 19, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas on October 8, 1929 to Narciso and Dominga Gomez. He was married for 53 loving years to his wife Elisa L. Gomez. Marcos worked many years in Civil Service with Fort Sam Houston. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and loved the Spurs. He is preceded in death by his parents Narciso and Dominga Gomez; daughter, Olga Gomez; brother, Cruz Gomez; sisters, Francisca Gomez, Ricarda Ramirez, Paz Gomez and Jesusa Torres. He is survived by his beloved wife Elisa Gomez; sons, Mark Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Marcos Gomez Jr.; grandson, Chris Gomez; granddaughter, Carrie Gomez; sisters, Bruna Guerrero and Nico Gonzales. Marcos will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family asks you to wear your favorite Cowboy Western Hat in Marcos’ honor for his Service. A Visitation for Marcos will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
