Lydia Gomez Resendez

Lydia Gomez Resendez, born on January 11, 1969 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on June 12, 2019 at the age of 50. She is preceded in death by her father, Trinidad Gomez; her sister, Patsy G. Sanchez. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Resendez; children, Elizabeth G. Resendez (Carlos Villarreal), Ernest G. Resendez Jr., Lynette G. Resendez (Jacob Pena) and Ervin Lee Resendez; grandchildren, Carlos Ernest Villarreal Jr., Jayden Villarreal, Jazlyn Lydia Villarreal, Carlyn Villarreal and another grandchild on the way; mother, Margie P. Resendez; step father, Santos Resendez; mother-in-law, Guadalupe Resendez; siblings, Diana Mendoza, Beatrice Gomez, Mary Ann Resendez, Valerie Resendez, Mike Gomez and Trinidad Gomez; nieces and nephews, Margaret Marie Gomez, Manuel G. Vasquez and Tony G. Vasquez; also, other relatives and many friends. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart form the funeral home on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Clare Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
