Our condolences to the Cantu, Lemon n Rodriguez families. I still find it hard to believe that Luisa is gone. So I well concentrate on the happy times we shared together.  I thought the best memory to start with would be her wedding day with my brother Fred.  The marriage was held at mom n dad Cantu's house.  There was lots of food, a cake and many people came over to celebrate the day. We had lots of fun n it was a wonderful time  to remember.  Another time I  remembered was the time we all got together during Easter in San Antonio.  Our brother Richard was able to get all of us a place to stay in San Antonio.  I think there were five families and we all spent the Easter day at Sea World.  The next day right before we all left for home, I  remember Luisa giving me a pink stationary box. For many years I used it to write notes to my kids. RIP Luisa.  Love,hugs n kisses from your sister in law n brother in law,  Noemi & Reynaldo Balli Jr. n family. 

My condolences to the family.  Luisa was my sister in law, my brother, Fred's, wife.  I remember going to Abilene, Tx. to be there for the twin's baptism as their Godfather.  I remember Fred and Luisa visiting me in Yukon, OK.  Also the times we went to South Padre Island, Luisa and Fred were there on occasion, the last time being Sept 2019 (Luisa was not excited about South Padre Island but went so Fred would be there with us).  I remember the times they would go to the Valley and we would get together for family times.  I also remember going to San Antonio for visits and we would either eat out or at their house. Luisa always had a smile on her face and took an interest in what was going on in our lives.  My husband, Joe, got to meet her on many occasions as did Louis, my partner.  She loved Mexican sweet bread and I remember they brought the biggest piggies to the beach one year that Joe loved.  Luisa took good care of my brother and was always worried that he drank too much coke, ate too many sweets and didn't take his medicines.  Who is going to take over Luisa's job in this area?  Thank you for all you did for my brother.  You raised wonderful children and you were a great momma. Luisa and I were roommates and worked at Timex in Abilene. She was like a little sister.  We had our fun times and struggles times but she always made us feel loved. She had  a smile that would light the room. And her son Joel was a big plus he was the light of day for her ,till she met her love of her life Fred. And had  their children. They were her everything.  She was so proud of them .  Gonna miss you my friend,  RIP  till we meet again

She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Rodriguez and by her sister, Elizabeth Rodriguez. Luisa is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Fred E. Cantu Jr.; children, Joel Salinas, Regina Lemons (Marc), Freddie Cantu III, Aaron Cantu, Kevin Cantu; mother, Maria Luisa Sanchez; brother, Ramiro Rodriguez (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Joel Isaiah Salinas, Ashley Nicole Salinas, Catalina Salinas, Macaela Lemons, Micah Lemons; great grandchildren, Laila Hernandez, Adonis Hernandez, Roaric Salinas.
