Luis M. Beltran

September 10, 1947 – February 14, 2018

Luis Martin Beltran went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2018 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio F. Beltran and Maria C. Beltran; brothers, Joseph Beltran and John Manuel Beltran; sister-in-law, Rosalinda Beltran. Luis is survived by his brothers, David C. Beltran and Michael G. Beltran; sisters, Mary B. Newton, Sister Rita Elena Beltran, M.C-M; sister-in-law, Rita L. Beltran; nieces and nephews, John E. Newton, Michael J. and Marcy Newton, Maria L. Beltran, Lori B. and George Ramos, David J. Beltran, Terry Ann Beltran, Janice M. Beltran and Anthony Beltran. Luis was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served 2 Tours in the United States Army. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for 40 years and a member of the Local Union No. 67. Visitation will began 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
