Leticia R. Salazar

Leticia Reyes Salazar peacefully entered into the arms of Our Lord on July 10, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on January 12, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the beloved daughter of Mary Rangel and Carlos Reyes.

Leticia cherished many hobbies, finding joy in music, dining out, and family trips to Port Aransas, Texas. Above all, her heart belonged to her family. Whether at the flea market, on car rides, or gathering together, these moments brought her immense happiness.

She is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Mary Rangel and Carlos Reyes, and her aunt Nellie.

Leticia's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loving husband of 34 years, Miguel "Mike" Salazar, her children Veronica Zuniga (Spouse Alex Zuniga), Jennifer Rosas (Spouse Jose Rosas), and Eugene Rodriguez Jr., and her grandchildren: Joe Luis Rosas, Preston Rodriguez, Jacob Zuniga (Spouse Jamie Zuniga), John Anthony Rosas, Alyssa Rodriguez, Emily Rosas, Gabriella Zuniga, and Isabella Zuniga Hernandez (Spouse Mark Hernandez); and 13 great-grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Teri Caro, Yolanda Reyes, Sylvia Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Carlos Reyes, Mario Reyes, Armando Reyes, and Charlie Sosa, as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Leticia's legacy of love and warmth will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
