Leroy Ruiz Torres was born on July 29, 1965 in San Antonio, TX and went to be with our Lord on April 27, 2018 at the age of 52. He was preceded in death by brother Ernest Torrez; Uncle Larry Ruiz; and Cousin Roger Ruiz. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Sandra Jean Torres; children Jennifer Lee Garcia-Alvarez, Adrian Leroy Garcia and Jessica Ryan Torres; grandson Adrian Leroy Garcia, Jr.; parents Ernesto and Mary Torres; and brothers Ruben and Edward Torres. Leroy was a Land Surveyor for 26+ years, most recently at Morris P. Herbert Inc, a career he always loved. He was an unwavering Minnesota Vikings fan, a hardworking father and husband and never missed an opportunity to try and make his friends and family laugh.
The visitation will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. John Berchman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
