Leandro Gamez born on February 9, 1930 was called to be with the Lord on February 3, 2014 at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his brother, Amador Gamez; sister, Guadalupe Vega. He is survived by his wife, Ofelia C. Gamez; children, David Gamez (Chris); Diana Corson (Dave) and Eddie Gamez (Alpha); grandchildren, David Lee Corson (Megan), Danielle Corson, Nathan Gamez, Elizabeth Gamez, Matthew Gamez, and Nicholas Gamez; great grandchildren: Gracie Corson and Austin Corson; brothers, Roberto Gamez and Tomas Gamez; also numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart on Thursday February 13, 2014 from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:15 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph (So. San) Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
