Kelsie Ann Uresti

Kelsie Ann Uresti, born November 12, 1929 to Willie and Kelsie Butler of Jackson TN, entered rest on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the age of 82. She enjoyed quilting and was an excellent cook. Her enchiladas and chicken and dumplings were family favorites. Kelsie was preceded in death by her first husband, Chamberlin Simpson; husband, Raymond S. Uresti and her grandson, Chad Moczygemba. She is survived by her daughters, Paula A. Chapman and husband John and Barbara Moczygemba and her son, Heron B. Smith, Jr. Also left to cherish her memory are six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Ronald Hamner for his caring and expertise over the years and a special thank you to Miguel and Laura of Angels House and Barbara Heyer, for their kindness and caring. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 9:30am at Sunset Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of San Antonio, 4804 Fredericksburg Rd.
