Kelly Lanea Dean, age 62 of Atascosa, Texas, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 02, 2023. She was born on August 13, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jack Dean and Janie (Hill) Dean. Kelly grew up in Pecos, Tyler, McAllen, Waco, and San Antonio, where she graduated from John Marshall High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Dean. Kelly is survived by her mother, Janie Dean; brother, Kyle (Carol) Dean; son, Cody (Laura) Dean and grandson, Jackson Warren Dean, as well as her ex-husband, Dennis Smith.
Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service. Those who might wish to contribute in her memory are encouraged to consider donations to a local animal rescue facility.
