Collaborating with Jill at Harcourt on proposal work was always a joyful experience because she provided exactly what I needed for costing or text, while simultaneously not taking herself seriously. Before leaving her cubicle the conversations could range from the importance in taking back her maiden name to the joy of her life, her daughter, whose picture was prominently displayed at her desk. Thanks, Jill, for your smile and the warmth you brought to everyone you met. You are gone far too soon, but you have left indelible marks on the hearts of those you’ve touched.

I have many cherished memories of Jill that reflect a life well-lived and a woman well-loved by many. Jill joined Harcourt just a few months before me in 2001, and I was so impressed because she seemed to have the knowledge of someone who had been there for years. I remember meeting sweet baby Ashley for the first and watching her grow into a beautiful young woman, with all the sass and facial expressions that was pure Jill. Memories of fun parties at my house after a tough week, drunk snow angels in Minnesota, crazy cool co-workers, pics with Santa on the beach on a girls trip to Galveston, annual holiday cookie exchanges, Jill critiquing my driving or parking or my inability to select the right table at a restaurant and dinners full of laughter and special friends. I will always remember her smile, her laugh and the way she loved life, family and friends. My heart and prayers go out to Bill, Ashley, Gabby, Thomas, her mom and her family. I already miss you, Jill. 

Jill and I connected late last year.  We did not have the opportunity to talk often, but when we did it was meaningful and positive.  Jill was special and I will miss her.  My deepest condolences to all of Jill’s family and her friends. May God comfort and strengthen you all in the days and weeks ahead. Our family will be praying for all of you.

I always adored Jill. She was full of witty humor and laughter. That's how I will always remember. Sometimes we'd just see each other and start laughing, for no reason at all. Such a beautiful soul. 

So many Harcourt memories, the Xmas party at Debra’s when we both tried to figure out WTH a pickle was doing in the Xmas tree. 
Rubber band fights in the department. 
Watching people pull up at the front circle drive and questioning their choice of outfits. 
The trips tubing down the river or dancing at Midnight Rodeo. 
Ashley’s bday parties under the pavilion at the park.

I have so many wonderful memories of Jill, but here are just a few of my favorites. When she was a little girl & would come to visit us, me & my sis Linda loved dressing her up like a bride👰She was the PRETTIEST little girl ever! We  would make my little brother Larry Jr. be the groom! Years later, I got a pretty "cool" Camaro & she was only about 11 or 12, but we rode around with the speakers blasting to Def Leppard & she loved it! She just recently reminded me of that! I had forgotten & was shocked she remembered! 😍 
Of course, I was honored & so happy when she chose my twins Cailee & Chloe to be her flower girls!❤❤

I had the pleasure of working with Jill at Pearson and will never forget her infectious smile and kindness!  She will be so missed and heaven has gained an angel!

I am just so saddened to hear of Jill's passing.  I worked with Jill at Pearson for many years.  She was not only a co-worker but a good friend.  She had many words of wisdom for me over the years.  My sincerest condolences to her family.

Julia Anne Tudyk, age 49, passed away on July 10, 2020 in her home in Cibolo, Texas. She was born on July 2, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. Julia graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree. She was a beloved wife, daughter, and mother who will be greatly missed.
Julia was preceded in death by her father, Robert Tudyk. She is survived by her husband, Bill Medellin; her mother, Antoinette Tudyk; her daughters, Ashley and Gabrielle; and son, Thomas.
