Julia was my cousin. Most of you don’t know the Barajas that I know. But here is a glimpse. Some of the best times of my life began with my mom picking me up early from school on any given Friday and seeing our station wagon loaded with Mexicans...yep...all the Saldivar’s it could fit...and heading to the Barajas house in San Antonio to visit my Tia Mary. I still don’t know how Julia’s dad put up with all of us. It would be a weekend of fun, fights, and my uncle scaring the crap out of this little white boy...I thought he wanted to kill me...I found out 10 years later he was my Godfather. Best uncle I’ve ever had. I can still hear him come home from work...seeing his humble home full of Saldivar’s and yelling “JULIA...QUÍTAME LAS BOTAS!” Yep, Julia was his favorite if you ask me. My uncle would always have a cookout for the family. I never understood why the Big Red never had gas. I can still hear little Javier call out to Julia “HUYA...dame Chona”. Liliana and Rick were wayyyy older than us....part-time bully’s...but we always had fun. Fo’ reals Liliana.  Time just passed too fast...and everyone just got in a hurry to live life. Never did we think there may not be a tomorrow. I was able to FaceTime Julia a few days ago and was able to tell her that I love her. I had a feeling.

Julia you have been the sweetest to me since our high school days in dance team. Seeing your family and your friends express so much love they have for 
you tonight shows what a beautiful soul you were. Julia you were one experience mom and sure gave this momma who was new to the club, some sweet encouragements when we would see each other. Your love for Jeremiah was one of a kind. Speaking to your children shows how they have so much respect for others and the huge heart they share from you and Jeremiah. Jeremiah I know you loved her with all your being and my heart is with you. I pray that God gives your family the comfort in the coming days and future. 

Julia, I will miss you sweet friend.

Sweet Julia with those beautiful eyes and the best personality. I was so blessed to have called you my friend in high school. And although we did not keep in contact after graduation, over the years when we ran into each other you were still the kind beautiful Julia I had always remembered. I pray for your family in this time of grief. May you rest in eternal peace Sweet Julia. ❤️

I met Julia back in 2001, as Dr. Kellums patient.  Right away felt the kindness she had.  She was my favorite nurse.  It broke my heart hearing of her passing.  She's such a beautiful person,  inside and out.  I was going through a little rough time back in 2017 and Julia called me and I remember her saying,  "Don't worry,  I'm here for you,  if you ever need to talk call me."  She was the most amazing,  kindhearted,  caring,  loving, person I know.  I'll miss you and your beautiful smile Julia. May God hold you in his arms.  Love ya girl ❤ Susan 

Praying for you Jeremiah, Stanley, Madeleine, Evangeline and Alaina.  Julia was one of a kind, she was a very loving,  wonderful and special wife and mother.  She would light up the room with her smile and presence.  I have memories of your wedding and I know that your family was made in heaven.   I know that this is a very difficult time.  Know in your hearts that Julia will ALWAYS be in yours.  Everything that you do from now on, she will be there.  Just take a moment and just talk to her and listen, you will hear her talking back.  She will be there to comfort you.  You were her world, just like she was yours.  Know in your hearts that we will all be there for you rather physical or in spirit, because that is what family does.  I may not be living close to you but, know in your hearts that I have you in mine.  Praying that God’s healing, love and strength be with you.  Love you all very much.

I met Julia thru my daughter Veronica . Very dear friend of Veronica n will be missed so much.  She had a heart of gold n a beautiful smile n was loved by all of us.  She looked so great when she attended my husbands rosary on Nov 2018.  Prayers to Jeremiah n family n God’s strength to help him thru all this .🙏🙏

I met Julia in 1997 as a patient at Kellum OB-GYN; I also knew Julia in the CYO world as well, our children played sports together at  St. Rose of Lima, and she was our team mom.  Julia had a delightful spirit and was very laid back; it was a pleasure to have crossed paths in life with Julia.  My heart was broken when I heard the news of her passing; I was not heartbroken because of her death. I was sad for the beautiful family she had to leave behind.  There are no words to comfort her husband and children; I pray that the Lord will speak to you during the darkness of the grieving period.  My deepest condolences to you Jeremiah and your beautiful children.

I met Julia in school. We were on the dance team together. She was the kindest person I knew. My condolences to her family. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
 

I have so many good memories with Julia and Jeremiah. We were in dance team together and every single time was nothing but laughter. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Julia is very special to me and always very positive about everything. I’m going to miss her so much. Julia, I promise you that I will stay in touch with Jeremiah and kids. Rest In Peace and I love you so much 

Julia was my boss of 6 years at Kellum Obgyn. Who would have thought she would end up being more than that to me. She was always so funny and sweet. She definitely had a smile that could brighten any room. I am blessed to have many memories of her. She was the one who encouraged me to do better, and never settle. She was my fellow book worm. She stayed so positive throughout this whole diagnosis. Always told me to quit making such a big deal of it. I will definitely miss our conversations.

I met Julia in high school ♥️ Been friends ever since...she was also my co-worker with KMG . She was my OB/Gyn nurse who was there for me through all my pregnancies.  I’m gonna miss you Jules. I think back at all those times we laughed and joked around...the time you were there for me when I had my miscarriage...you hugged me so tight and even checked up on me at the hospital. I can’t believe you are gone 😭 te voy extrañar mucho mi bonita 😇

Everytime I Spoke with Julia, she always gave her full attention and always had a smile.  
My Family visited her last week and She was Happy.  She always was positive and Loved her Family.

I met Julia over 11 years ago thru our children playing CYO sports.   In an instant I was drawn to Julia.  Her kindness, her sweet personality, the way she loved her family.  I knew she was someone I needed to have in my life.  We became very good friends.  She helped me get thru some tough times in my life.  I always looked forward to our kids practices because I knew we had an hour to chat about our lives.  Julia was a special person to me and my family.  I love you Julia and you will be missed.   You are  a beautiful angel in heaven.
