Juanita Q. Vega

Juanita was born July 27th, 1934 in Lockhart, Texas to Viviano Quiroga and Juana Flores Quiroga. She was married to Luis Vega Sr. for 63 years.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Viviano Quiroga and Juana Flores Quiroga, and by her siblings: Catarina Quiroga Gonzalez, Matilde Q. Rodriguez, Maria Bernalda Quiroga Sanchez, Olivia Quiroga Cortinas, Bibiano Quiroga, Eusebio Quiroga, Espiridion Quiroga, and Raymundo Quiroga. She is survived by her husband Luis, sister Maria DeLaLuz Quiroga (Rojas), brother Leandro Mike Quiroga, and her children: Alma Rose (Leo), Luis Jr. (Darlene), Danny Davis (Dolores), Mary Jane (Greg), Evelyn (Gus) and Cynthia Ann (Bobby), and Daughter-in-law Laura and Son-in-law Jose.

Juanita will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Luis III (Janet), Calley Rose (Mike), Cesar Noel (Valerie), Nicole Antoinette (David), Priscilla Danielle, Steven Garth, Justin Daniel, Sterling Mackenzie Santana, Brandon CristinScott, Marina Elissa, Cidnee Ariel, Melisa Rose, Johnnie Thunder, Patrick Michael, Aubrey LeAnn (raised by Cynthia Ann and Bobby), and by step-grandchildren Cyndelle Danielle, Justin Kyenne (Greg) and Bobby Jr. (Bobby).

She will also be forever remembered by her great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren: Luis Antonio IV, Genaceli Anallen, Kylie Alyce, Marianna Athena Rose, Kaidence Lillian, Camila Amor, and Atlas James; as well as her great-grandchildren by marriage or adoption Alexis, Yezsebelle, Angel (Aubrey), Bradon Cole and Bryson Cale (Justin).

A Visitation will be held Thursday, June 24th at 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. Mass will be held on Friday, June 25th at 12:00PM at St. Alphonsus Church,2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, TX 78207. Followed by internment at 1:30PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
