Juana L. Morin

Juana L. Morin, age 89, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She was born June 26, 1933 to Isabel and Jose Lopez. Juana enjoyed cooking and sewing, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

Juana is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband of 56 years, Ruben V. Morin; her son Ruben and her daughter Oralia. She is survived by her children, Monica Guerra, Gloria Pastrano (Leonard), Ruben Morin (Patricia), Martha Sanchez (Gilbert), Oscar Morin (Diana), Gustavo Morin (Rhonda), and Pedro Morin (Penny); her 24 grandchildren, Guillermo, Adriana (Steve), Michael (Jennifer), Ricardo (Samantha), Jaime, Leonard (Hillary), Roberto (Jenni), Ruben III, Ruben, Monica, David, Ana, Oscar Jr. (Kimberly), Nicholas, Christa (Kimberly), Bailee (Mark), Emilee (Michael), Karlee (Sabas), Peter (Jynuahlyza), Joey, Julia, Alyssa, Jesse, and Jamie; and her 18 great grandchildren, Joshua, Joel, Austin, Michael, Gabriella, Matthew, Robin, Dominic, Heaven, Branden, Kaitlyn, Aliah, Noah, Mia Diaz, Zane, Zoe, Ryan, and Jacob.

A visitation for Juana will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM for a funeral mass at 11:30 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78237. Burial will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
