Joseph “Joey” Kayser, age 75, passed away on December 21, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on September 14, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio. Joey was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.
Joey was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Kayser; his mother, Julia Spisik; and his sister, Mary Jane. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shari Kayser; daughter, Jozett Erfurth (Cody); his grandchild, Cali; his sister, Paula Sladek (Jack); his beloved step-mother, Blanca Kayser; his nieces, Magen and Kelsi Storrie; brother-in-law, David Sladek (Paula); and his great-nephew, Jayden Taylor.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 6th at 10:00 am in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 11:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park. There will be a gathering to celebrate the life of Joey following the burial at the family home at 1327 Tracy Dr.; San Antonio, TX.
