Joseph R. Correa

Joseph R. Correa, age 88, passed away July 29, 2018 in Pleasanton, Texas. He was bon on October 2, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Jose and Rosario Rubio Correa. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War with a Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal with 1 Star and a United Nations Medal. He later worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Services. Joseph is survived by his daughter, Debra C. Williams and husband Henry Jr.; son, Robert G. Correa and wife Linda; grandchildren, Jennifer D. Urrutia and husband Chris, Vanessa R. Correa, Robert A. Correa, and Henry L. Williams III; great-granddaughter, Christina N. Urrutia; sisters, Henrietta Garza, Carol Slamar, and Rosalinda Mendoza; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Road, 78251 on Friday, August 3, 2018, beginning at 12:30 P.M. with a rosary at 1:30 P.M. and a funeral mass at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
