Josefina Chacon, age 96, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 27th, 2021. She was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico on December 24th, 1924 to Rita Medina and Hilario Sanchez. She was married to Alberto Chacon. She was a beautiful and kind person who had a passion for gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rita and Hilario, and her husband Alberto Chacon. She is survived by her beloved daughters Carmen V. De Luna, Guadalupe Villafuerte, Manuelita Long, Delores Islas, and Rose I. Chacon, as well as 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, located at 226 Cupples Road, 78237. Visitation will begin Thursday, June 3rd from 5PM to 9PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7PM. Mass will be held the next day, June 4th at 9:00AM, at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Internment will follow at San Fernando #2.
