Jose Luis Gonzalez Jr.

Jose Luis Gonzalez Jr., 38, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at home with his family by his

side. He was born June 06, 1980, in San Antonio, TX, to Jose Luis Gonzalez Sr. and Maria de

Jesus Gonzalez.

Jose loved being a Father. His favorite hobbies included: playing basketball with his son,

nephew and niece, being outdoors and traveling. He loved to barbecue and spend time with

family and friends. His favorite sports teams were the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.

Jose is survived by his Parents: Jose and Maria Gonzalez; Son: Tristan Gonzalez; Wife: Shannon

Frith; Step-Daughter: Samira Frith; Sister: Juana Gonzalez; Niece: Bethanie Garza; Nephew: Jose

Garza; and many Family and Friends.

In 1998, Jose graduated from Harlandale High School. He attended Wichita State University,

Northwest Vista College, and Palo Alto College. In 2002, he graduated with a degree in

Paralegal from Texas Careers.

Jose worked for Citibank, N.A. as a Legal Specialist since 2004 and was known by his

colleagues as being very quiet, respectful, hard worker, and a religious man.

Jose was baptized at Bellaire Christian Church and then became a member of Iglesia Cristiana

Emmanuel and Pearl Street Church.

The loss of Jose will be felt by many; the void in our hearts will take time to heal. The Family is

comforted in knowing, Jose is resting in peace with his Heavenly Father.

On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, a Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. Following the Chapel Service, the family of Mr. Jose Luis Gonzalez Jr., will meet at First Memorial Burial Park, 20567 Hwy 16 S., Von Ormy, Texas, to lay him to rest.

A Jose le sobreviven sus padres el Sr, Jose Luis y la Sra. Maria de Jesus

Gonzalez; Su Hijo Tristan Gonzalez; Su Esposa Shannon Frith; Su Hijastra

Samira Frith; Su Hermana Juana Gonzalez; Sus Sobrinos Bethanie y Jose

Garza; ademas de muchos Familiares y Amigos.
