Jose R. Gonzales

Jose R. Gonzales passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 72. Born on December 22, 1948, he is preceded in death by his parents, Benino Gonzales and Hilaria Guerrero Gonzales; his granddaughter, Angelina; and his siblings, Becky, Julian and Carlos.

Jose is survived by his children, Dorothy (Tony), Ben and Richard (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Eric, Michelle, Christopher, Denise, Destiny, Jessica, Alyssa, Sara, Giovanni, Vincent; his great-grandchildren, Xavier, Jason, Miles and Amethyst; his siblings, Herlinda, Christina, Susie, Benino, Catherine, Sandra and Virginia; and his extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him greatly.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 100 people in the building at a time. Face masks will be required to be worn by all guests.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, October 26 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, October 27, a Funeral Procession will depart at 9:45 AM and arrive at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church – 1710 Clower 78201 – for Mass to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III – 1735 Cupples Road 78226.
