Jose A. Garcia

Jose A. Garcia born January 31, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by family, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2013, at the age of 56. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Julia Garcia. He is survived by his brother Guillermo Garcia Jr. (Frances); sisters Margarita Garcia, Elsa Casso (Ramiro); children Jose Garcia Jr., Laurie Garcia, Daniel “Pound” Garcia, Braxton Joseph Garcia, Katrina Garcia, Makayla Garcia; numerous grandchildren; nephews Rudy Garcia (Consi), Ray Garcia (Imelda), Guillermo “Willie” Garcia III (Cyndi), Santos Fabela IV, Rudy “Brother” Garcia Jr., Noah “Buddy ” Ray Garcia, Adam Garcia; nieces Miranda Garcia, Sarah “Blue” Garcia, Chynna Frances Garcia, Emma Garcia, Leena Frances Garcia. Joe was the life of the party, we could always rely on him to put a smile on our faces. Joe was Head Ranch hand at Hermanos Ranch where he took his job of running the family ranch seriously and with passion. Special thanks to the VA Emergency staff SAMMC 4th Floor Burn Unit for their support and prayers. A visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Jude’s Catholic Church on Thursday, June 6, 2013 with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery where he will rest peacefully, close to his father.
