Jose Castillo, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the age of 84. He was born in Goliad Texas, on October 30, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Sofia Castillo, two brothers and one sister. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Genara Castillo, four children, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Roy Akers, 515 N. Main, on Thursday, November 22, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, November 23, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower.
