Johnny O. Ornelas

He loved music with his whole heart and enjoyed dancing. When he wanted a more relaxing night, he would sit and watch his favorite old western movies. Mr. Ornelas was a small business owner and a pillar of his community.

Johnny will be reunited with his loving parents Camila Ortiz and Jose Ornelas, as well as his dear siblings Lupe Ortiz and Josie Leal.

Johnny will be treasured still by the love of his life of fifty-seven years, Gloria Ornelas. He is also survived by his siblings Joe Ornelas, Willie Ornelas, Carlos Ornelas, and Mary Esther Alvarado; his adoring children John A. Ornelas (Noreen Barr), Oscar Ornelas (Irma Salazar), and Michael A. Ornelas (Elisa Ornelas); grandchildren, Jonathan, Alexus, Nicholaus, Brandon, Oscar, and Electra and great granddaughter Sophia.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph (So San.) Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
