John Henry Jimenez was born in San Antonio, TX on July 1, 1951 to Frank and Guadalupe (Ramos) Jimenez, and passed away on July 12, 2015 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 64. John Henry was a master carpenter and worked for 22 years at One Towers Park Lane. He had a fantastic work ethic, doing everything to perfection. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish, doing BBQ’s for family and friends and gambling.
His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his son, John A. Jimenez; grandson, John A. Jimenez II; sisters, Lily Quiroz (Arturo), Annie Moreno, Margie Rodriguez, Alice Faz; brothers, Frank Jimenez, Jr (Rachel), Richard Jimenez (Helen); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
