Lori and family, so saddened to hear of Joel’s passing. Such a good, kind man and always so good to Mom (Harriette “Honey” Pearce).  Sending prayers for you and your family. 

OMG I just heard and so sorry to hear of his passing. He was such a good neighbor to my parents when they were alive. My prayers are being said to Lori and family. He was a good man and a good friend.

I was saddened and shocked to hear the news of Joel's passing.  
We were mere Facebook acquaintances but enjoyed the comments and thumbs up on each other's posts.  
I enjoyed him sharing The Reed Brothers music posts.   He was always proud of you.  
My sympathy to everyone that loved him.  

I have known Joel since we were kids in the neighborhood. He was a very good man, husband, dad, and granddad who loved his family. My condolences to his whole family and all his friends.

We are so very sorry for the loss of Joel. Our hearts are broken for the Reed family. Joel was an amazing man. He was so kind, friendly, and always had a smile on his face. His laugh was so contagious. He loved his family so much. He loved our daughter like his own and she loved him like a dad, and we are forever grateful. There are so many people that loved and admired him, and he will be greatly missed.   Rest In Peace,

Mike and I are so sad to hear of Joel's passing.  I've known Joel since we were kids and our sons were close friends growing up.  Joel had such a great sense of humor and a zest for life!  He will truly  be missed.  Lori, Keegan, Kyle, Joel's sisters, and the rest of the Reed family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

 First I send my love and support to my Aunt Lori, and cousins Keegan and Kyle  and the whole family  for the loss of Uncle Joel.  He was a bright spirit and always had an upbeat way about him that was everlasting humor , humility .   I will miss my uncles laugh most of all as it was most infectious in the best of ways.  Just the memory of my uncles laugh has helped me get through some rough times .   He was a fantastic uncle to me ,   Rest in peace in heaven  Uncle Joel , you will be missed but not forgotten. Joel was a very special person.  As someone who grew up down the street from the Reed family I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of quality time with them.  Joel was always very involved in what we as kids were doing and was always encouraging.  Some of my greatest memories of my childhood were spent being at the Reed's house and hanging with Joel.  He would share his music collection, play video games and even play a tune on the guitar.  He had many talents and loved to share them with me and his sons.  I am truly grateful to have known Joel and he will be truly missed.

Sad to hear of Joel's passing. We were good friends in school, working together at his Dad"s business and ReedHamJackson. Many memories for us, wih a great wife and great boys. He acted like his Dad, trying to help all he could.

I was so sad to hear of Joel’s passing. I remember his ever present smile and laughter at the Trainwreck concerts. And, his excitement during Spurs games (clapping his shoes).   He brought so much joy to everyone around him.  Joel and the entire Reed family have always meant so much to Kendall,  Such a great man and wonderful Father.  He will forever be missed. Keeping the Reed’s in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened by Joel's passing - he was a wonderful Facebook friend and patriot.  I will miss his quick wit and thoughtful articles he enjoyed sharing with his friends.  My prayers to his family and friends - may God enfold all of you in His arms and grant you comfort and peace.
