Jill Denys

Our beautiful Jill passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Jill was born in Lafayette, La on January 29, 1984 at 1:29 am

She is survived by her loving husband Gustavo and darling daughter Kate, as well as the forever puppy max and the Regal Poncho. Her parents mark and Carrie Rowlett sister Kristen and her husband Ben Hicks and son Rio Hicks. She is also survived by her wonderful Mother in law Eva and her sister in law Vanessa Denys

Her aunts and uncles Kim and Jeff Pickering and Kelly and George Davis, and Cynthia Rowlett. Cousins Meredith Schuchard and Bryn Seay. Patrick Davis and Jack Davis. Her Godmother Shine Chancellor.Predeceased by her grandparents and by her uncle John Rowlett and her Father in law Gustavo Sr.

If you were fortunate to know Jill you knew you had a friend for life.

She leaves behind her beloved Caddo magnet girls, her fabulous La tech friends and Kappa delta sisters. Her friends from st Mary’s school of law in San Antonio. And, her homeland security Family, which all have been amazing.

Jill was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer 7 years ago and fought a long hard battle to stay with Gustavo and Kate.

Although we are heartbroken that she is gone. She will never be forgotten and live forever in our hearts
