Jesse J. Vanegas

Jesse was a man of love and virtue. He was a family man through and through and was a selfless father and husband. Jesse will be remembered as a beacon of light that was always there for guidance and support for his friends and family in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Sr. and Aurora Vanegas; brother, Joe Anthony Vanegas; father in law, Isidro Arce and mother in law, Manolo Rivas.

Jesse passed after a courageous battle with cancer and is survived by his wife, Flor Rodriguez; two sons, Gabriel Vanegas (Krystal Contreras), Daniel Vanegas (Jason Gentry) and their mother Angie Vanegas; siblings, Santiago Jr., Josie Lara and Janie Vanegas who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A viewing will be held to celebrate Jesse’s life on November 17, 2021 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road in San Antonio, Texas. The viewing will start at 5:00 PM and a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM.
