Jesse James Jones Jr.

Reverend Jesse James Jones and Laddis (Wren) Jones and departed this life on July 27, 2015. He was the seventh of thirteen children born to this union. Jesse grew up in Forney, Texas amidst loving and tight-knit family members.

Jesse was united in holy matrimony to Selva Stephanie Montoute and, as a result of this union, one

child was born. Cherishing his memory is their daughter: Ayola Nneka Vesey (Jerry) of Okinawa,

Japan; four sisters: Etta T. Summerfield (Clarence) of Washington, D.C., Janice Linda Richard (King

Edward) of Giddings, Texas, Janet Brenda Witherspoon (James Earl) of Terrell, Texas and Sandra

Delois Jones of Terrell, Texas; five brothers: Robert L. Jones (Benita) of Terrell Texas, Harvey

Dwayne Jones (Verna) of Killeen, Texas, Hollis Ray Jones (Vickie) of Edgewood, Texas, Billy Carrol

Jones (Carol) of Washington, D.C. and Tonnie Lee Jones (Kawana) of Terrell, Texas; two step-sisters:

Getrude Mumphry of Fort Worth, Texas and Betty Jean Johnson of Houston, Texas; and two stepbrothers: Roy Lee Choice (Marva) of Terrell, Texas and Curly Broughton of Dallas, Texas. Jesse also leaves behind o e daughter-in-law: Teri Bell (Shawn) of San Antonio, Texas, seven grand children,

one great-grand child and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jesse was preceded in death by both parents; one son: Shawn Bell; five sisters: Josie Mae Redic

(Matthew), Earlene Williams (Ned), Irett Jones, Frances Sue Buchanan (Arthur) and Marilyn Ruth

Jones; two brothers: John L. Jones (Barbara) and Larry James Jones; and one step-sister: Ida Mae

King.
