Jason Lee Archibald

Jason Lee Archibald passed away February 14, 2011 at the age of 34. He was born May 2, 1976 in San Antonio, Texas to Bruce and Sonja Archibald. Jason served in the U.S. Navy from 1993-1995, and afterwards earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UTSA in Construction Management. A devoted husband, father, and son, Jason loved spending time with his daughter. He particularly enjoyed fishing and watching football with his friends. Equipped with a great sense of humor, Jason loved to make people laugh, and was even pursuing a career as a comedian at the time of his passing. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Archibald; brothers, Matthew and Joshua Archibald; Maternal Grandparents, Lloyd and Twila Stanley; Paternal Grandfather, Leonard Archibald; and Paternal Step-grandfather Elmer Bossom. Survivors include his beloved wife, Jennifer Archibald; daughter, Amber Archibald; Mother, Sonja Feldman; Step-Father, Mark Feldman; Paternal Grandmother Ginny Bossom and several loving relatives and many dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. with a Navy Honors Ceremony to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
