Happy Easter, Janie.  You always made it so nice in the ICU for all of us. It has not been the same without you.

Today is your birthday, my dear friend.  How deeply you are missed.  It still is fresh in my mind of when we last talked and I so miss those talks every single day. I definitely miss your words of wisdom. We will think of you and miss you always.

Tomorrow is your 62nd birthday. You are loved and missed forever and thought of each and every day. How lucky I was to have been blessed with a beautiful angel.

Janie, Today marks one year since you left! You are thought of fondly and the feelings of saddness remain. My memories are good ones of you the beautiful woman inside and out!

Yesterday was a hard day. I miss you being next to me and telling me everything is alright. I miss you each and every day and wish I was with you.

Janie, Today marks 7 months since you left. You are thought of daily! Miss hearing you say "Whats going on?"

Today marks 6 months since your departure Janie. I went by your house last night and was thinking of how proud you were of your home and of your accomplishments. I was very proud of you also. Know that while I remain on this earth you will be remembered always. Mi amiga descansa en paz! Dolores

I will deeply miss Janie and I am honored to have known her and share a friendship with her and Chris.  An excellent nurse who didn't mince words and "told things like they were".  I always appreciated her honesty and candor, she will truly be missed for the overwhelmingly special person whom she was....
with a great smile and laugh.  She was always looking out for me regarding part time per diem nursing jobs .
Love and miss you Janie Rivera.  The world is no longer a special place as it was when you were with us.

Janie,  Thank you for all the wonderful acts of kindness you gave us on a daily basis.  Thank you for changing our place of work in to a second home away from home.  This is a temporary place for all of us, this world.  Where you are now is permanent and eternal. You are living in our hearts until we meet again.

Janie, when you passed from this earth to your new eternal home in heaven there were tears in the eyes of your family, professional colleagues and the patients you devoted your life to  helping back to good health. My dearest janie, my heart aches for you cuz i will never be able to see your face again, talk to you in person or text you. Im still in shock over your passing and dont understand why you were taken from us so suddenly. You were not only a great friend but just like another mother to me. You would be stunned to see and know how many lives you touched while here on earth. I have to say you had your way in the end. You were taken care by your own and you would not have had it any othe way. I miss you so very much. Janie was a beautiful person and a wonderful nurse she will be missed by all who were fourtunate enough to know her. I will always remember her smile. My deepest condolances to her family, friends, and co workers.

Janie you made us all so proud. Together we laughed in the face of adversity. We joked in the midst of tragedy. We saw what a precious gift life is and how fragile. Janie was as a lot of things to many people, she gave so much inspiration and friendship. We never lose the friends we love; they live with us in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Te vamos a extrañar...

One would think, we as caregivers , be exempt of such illnesses and physical suffering. I am sorry to here of your passing, however relieved that your spirit is released to our Creator. Cris  and  Family, I am sorry for your loss. Janie was armed with the gifts of determination ,charity, humor and the courage to do the right thing in the face of adversity. You will be missed, peace be with you.

Although I have only met Janie a couple of times, I have heard so many positive things about her.She will be missed by so many. She has been a blessing to our family and I am so sorry my uncle has to go through this loss of such a special person. Stay strong Chris, may everyday be a little easier for you to cope.

Chris, and family, I send you my condolences and love.  I pray that perpetual light shines on Janie's soul and that she rests in peace.  I also pray that God takes you and your wonderful family into His loving arms and gives you peace and strength throughout this time of loss.

Janie took care of my mother when she was in the ICU.  She was more than a nurse, she really cared about her patients and you could tell by the way she treated them and how she treated the family.  When we lose someone, people say they are in a better place.  For those who are struggling with the loss of one they loved so much, I tell you of a surety, she has returned to that God who created her.  And the day will come when you will be reunited with her.  And won't that be a wonderful day!

Janie has touched so many lives and I just was to thank those in the ICU that took excellent care of her and her family.  She was a great leader and teacher! She will be missed!

What a remarkable woman, friend and nurse! I will never forget her presence she always brought laughter and joy to the unit! Always so supportive and caring. Her words echo in my head " you go miss thing"! You will be missed Janie but never forgotten!

Janie, you were lifetime treasure. I probably never told you enough how much I loved you or how much I admired and respected you. I cherish each and every day we had for the past 12 1/2 years. You always saw life through the eye of a child yet had maturity to deal with the ups and downs. You really were my soul mate and I will always love you as I always have.

My one true love of my life. You saw the world through the eyes of a child. You were my world and the air I breathe. How can I ever go on without my life partner? I probably never told you enough how beautiful you were and that you were my most valuable treasure. I will miss holding and loving you.

Words just can not express the pain felt inside by your passing.  I will forever remember your smile, your encouragement and mentoring.  You were always uplifting everyone as a team and trying to make sure that we knew you appreciated each of us.  In the darkest times you taught us to be empowered to stick together and fight for our profession and what was right. I will miss your presence on the unit, your voice coming around the corner and your laugh. I am so proud of you about obtaining your CCRN and BSN!  Looking at your picture, I remember how excited you were to go have your graduation pictures made.  How proud you were to show them to us and how excited you were to go to your graduation.  On the unit that day the ceremony was pulled up to be watched and even though you were hurting so bad, you stood proud and walked that stage with grace.  I pray for peace and for you to know just how much you touched so many peoples lives! You will be missed so much my friend.

Janie May you find peace in heaven and rest,  you where in the hands of a nursing team who not only cared for you but LOVED you. I only knew you for a short time, But you left a lifetime impression.

Janie is an inspiration. She was always generous, encouraging, educating, and just there to listen. She was always there for a laugh because "if you don't laugh, you'll cry." I will miss her and always think of her. I know she is looking down at us and smiling.

I'm thankful to have had Janie as a nurse mentor who I could count on in an emergency and who made my friend a happy man! Janie was a wonderful part of our team in the ICU.I will miss working with her and seeing her bright smile on our unit. She will be sorely missed.

I thank God for putting such a wonderful friend in my life.  All of us that have worked with Janie are blessed with so many beautiful memories.  It hurts so deeply to know I will not see her smile or hear her laugh, but I know oneday I will get to see my friend again.  Janie, we love you & will miss you so much.

Working with Janie was so rewarding, I always learned so much from her even when she was sick. My grief for a friend will be a hard road to travel.
