James was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Birdie M. and Emiko S. Browning on December 4, 1954. He went to school in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School. He worked as a parts counterman and a porter for numerous companies for many years just recently retiring. He was a veteran and served in the Army.
James is preceded in death by his parents Birdie M. and Emiko S. Browning and a great nephew, Kyron M. Scott.
James is survived by his sister, Barbara Bowman, her husband Michael, nephew Chad Bowman, wife Jennifer, niece Angela Gonzales, husband Antonio, great nephews Nathaniel, Ethan, Zayne, great nieces Kelsey, her husband Joe, Londyn, Aubree and great great niece Violet.
Funeral services will be held at 11:15 a.m. on December 18, 2024 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery ( Shelter 2) burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sunset Funeral Home.
