Irma Louise Dial

Irma Ransleben Dial, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died peacefully at her home in Floresville, Texas Thursday morning. Born in Comfort, Texas to Emmy Brinkmann and Guido Ransleben, Irma married Joe Dial in San Antonio July 2, 1958.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Otto and Guido. She is survived by husband Joe, children Mike Dial and Janice Wilson (and husband Phillip Wilson), grandchildren Christopher Dial, Jennifer Dial Creech, Emily Brown, Erin Brown Kozuh and Lindsey Wilson (and their spouses Brittany Dial, Daniel Creech, Rudy Todorov and Karel Kozuh) and great grandchildren Radoslav and Ivana Todorov and Jamison Dial.

Irma worked for Friedrich Air Conditioning until she was married. She lived for her family and spent every minute possible with her grandchildren, who all will dearly miss their Oma. She loved gardening, classic movies, animals and the San Antonio Spurs which she faithfully followed every season. She regularly donated to Boysville – a San Antonio home for Children.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 2:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.
