Irene Gutierrez Hernandez, age 63, went to be with our Lord on December 13, 2019. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Manuel and Esperanza Gutierrez, and brothers, Gilbert Cristo and Manuel Gutierrez. Irene is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Jaime G. Hernandez, children and their spouses, Monica and Arnold Menchaca, Jaime and Krystal Hernandez, Juan Carlos and Amanda Hernandez, and Celeste Hernandez; sisters, Carmen Gutierrez, Julia and Gilbert Diaz, and Gloria and Alfredo Almanza; also survived by her nine adoring grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous godchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all her close family and friends. The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. On Friday, December 20, 2019 the Mass of the Resurrection will take place at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
