Humberto Garcia entered in to rest on April 3, 2015 at the age of 82. He was born to Rodrigo and Flavia Garcia on February 14, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and received the rank of Corporal. He is preceded in life by his parents Rodrigo and Flavia Garcia and brothers; Ruben and Raul Garcia. Humberto will be survived by his wife Antonia Garcia and children; Humberto Garcia Jr. Maria Elena Garcia, Becky Garcia, Adolfo Marquez, Olga Salas and Beatrice Diaz; In-Laws Elvira Marquez, Ralph Salas, and Raymond P. Diaz; as well as 10 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 for Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church 1619 South Flores, with burial to follow at San Fernando #2 cemetery at 746 Castroville Rd.
