Hector was a family man, he was very caring, welcoming and always smiling. He was a quiet man but for those who got to know him knew he had a huge sense of humor. He enlisted in the Army in 1958 armored division. He loved driving the tanks while he was enlisted. He was honorably discharged in 1960. He met the love of his life on Valentine's Day 1962 and married on November 25, 1965 at St. Timothy church. He enjoyed reading, watching westerns, going to the lake and to Disneyland. He was a great storyteller often sharing his tall tales with his family. He had a special relationship with each of his children and grandchildren but loved them all the same. He worked hard at several different jobs throughout his life sometimes 2 or 3 to provide for his family without complaint. He retired in 2003 from UTHSC. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.funerariadelangelpaloalto.com for the Arredondo family.
