Guadalupe's life was a testament to his strength and vision. He brought his family to the United States from Mexico, seeking a brighter future. Through hard work and perseverance, he established a successful construction business that not only built structures but also a solid foundation for his family's dreams. Guadalupe was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose children and grandchildren would proudly say, "My Daddy can," knowing he could solve any problem that came their way.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dora Guerra; his siblings, Javier Guerra of Houston, TX, Roel Guerra of Mission, TX, Gerardo Guerra of San Antonio, TX, Anabel Guerra of Mission, TX, and Joel Guerra of Mission, TX. Guadalupe was a guiding light for his children, Dora Wilford (Clint) of Poteet, TX, Jose Guerra of Louisiana, Diana Guerra of San Antonio, TX, and Sonia Guerra (Raymundo) of San Antonio, TX. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Joe Jonathan Sanchez III of Colorado, Timothy J. Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, Joshua Jose Guerra of Lafayette, LA, Charles Clinton Wilford of Poteet, TX, Megan Adele Wilford of Poteet, TX, Katalina Campos, and Kamila Campos, and his adored great-granddaughter, Aurora Rose Sanchez.

A gathering of family & friends for Guadalupe will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232, followed by a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
