I met Gordon in Houston, in 1980.  We had been cast in a  show together, and were great friends from that day on--- for over 40 years. We'd talk for hours,  we'd go to the theater, we took acting classes, we'd go out to eat (Black-Eyed Pea, The Great Greek, House of Pies)...We even went on vacation to Hollywood.  We had so much fun. 
Gordon was an exceptional actor.  I saw every show he did in Texas, and he always gave a stellar performance.
His Sweets for the Sweet parties were legendary.
Gordon was someone I felt i could always go  to. That kind of love and loyalty are rare.  I was so lucky to know him.

I met Gordon when we were both living in Norwalk, Ohio.  We visited often.  He got me interested in the Shoe String Players, a local theater group.  I remember he directed and acted and got me involved too.  He moved to Texas and we stayed in touch.  He came back to Ohio in 2007 to visit and we met for lunch in Norwalk.  I was shocked to learn of his death.

Gordon was a loving and caring friend.  

We became friends in Norwalk, OH in the early 70s.  He introduced me to the Shoestring Players and theater then, and my interest has blossomed.  Although I live in Ohio and Gordon moved to San Antonio,  we remained close friends.   Anytime I had a problem, I would share it with him and end up laughing.  

Gordon brought joy and laughter to those who knew him.  Rest in peace, dear friend.

You gave me a love for geography and for people when I was your student in 4th grade in 1971-72.  Thank you for being my good friend for over 50 years.  You will be greatly missed by me and my family.
