Gilbert Sierra

Gilbert Sierra, born on December 26, 1946 went be with our Lord on July 12, 2019 at the age of 72. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Celia S. and Jose R. Sierra; son, Estevan Gilberto Sierra; grandson, Tyrone G. Farias, III.; brother, Jesse Sierra. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alicia R. Sierra; children, Veronica Sierra, Felix Sierra (Rita) and David Sierra (Gabriela); grandchildren, Estevan Sierra, Ryan Sierra, Joshua Sierra and Lindsay Rodriguez; great-grandchild, Andres Velasquez, Deslynn Rodriguez, Dylin Rodriguez, Ava Sierra and Makaela Sierra; siblings, Sylvia Sierra, Joe Sierra, Raymond Sierra and John Sierra. Gilbert had two very special friends in his life who were like family to him, Tyrone G Farias, Jr. and Anthony Lara, Jr. He will be dearly missed by all his close family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
