Gilbert G. Lopez

Gilbert Lopez went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2018 at the age of 59. Gilbert was born to his parents Jose and Emeteria Lopez on June 22, 1958. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jose Lopez and Armando Lopez; sister, Sylvia Leyva. Gilbert is survived by his former wife Mary Ann Saenz and his only daughter Angelica Lopez; his sisters Angela Encina and Rachel Martinez, along with many nieces and nephews whom he was very close to. Gilbert enjoyed his occupation as a bus driver for several Tejano Musicians and Nationwide Casino Tours.Gilbert is loved and remembered well by all who knew him. Visitation will begin 4:00 pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am Friday, June 1, 2018 for a 10:00 am Mass at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Ave. Service will conclude after Mass.
