Continued prayers for my friend and former classmate.  I continue to have good memories of George, missing his smile and  humor.

I know that this is late.  Coach Rameriz was a leader, educator and good friend.  He had a way of teaching that gained trust and respect.  I am now in my 60's and he still remains a guide on how to do things.  
I know that he was a positive influence on me and many many others that passed through his classes.

My sincerest condolences to George's Family.  I am so saddened to hear of his passing.  We had known each other since high school and I will always remember his wit, wisdom, and dedication to the teaching profession.  During the summer of 1968, he stayed with my family for a while and shared many adventures that I remember to this day.  We frequented HemisFair 1968, the beach, and even selling ice cream from an ice cream truck.  We were both westsiders that never forgot our roots.  His legacy will be his Family and the thousands of students that he taught and guided throughout his career as an educator.  I offer my prayers with the hope that they may bring comfort to his Family during this difficult time.  Rest In Peace, my Friend.

Mr. Ramirez was my Spanish Teacher during the scope of attending Thomas Jefferson. Very humble, patient gentleman. He assisted and persisted to help us understand the importance of our bi-lingual language opportunities we were instilled. Made a mindful reminder of never forgetting our roots and what a beautiful culture we have. May each of you find comfort and peace during this journey that only our Lord can carry you through.

My heart has been heavy this week thinking of Mr Ramirez,my condolences to his family. As I think back I remember with all we were responsible for in the class of 76 there was never even a thought of whether or not Mr Ramirez would be there guiding us,he simply was, what a gift. His mentoring and teaching allowed us all to achieve our dreams .I remember too his laughter ,yes the laughter ,the laughter he also gave us to support us through every moment in life. God bless this wonderful ,incomparable man.

Mr. Ramirez was one of the good guys.  He made learning fun and interesting.  He always had time to listen to his students, he knew how to get things across to us.
Thank you Mr Ramirez...you were my favorite teacher at Jefferson.

He supported our dreams and guided us to achieve them. All of our lives were enriched having known this wonderful man.

Sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad.  George and I taught across the hall from each other down in the basement  in the “New Wing”. We also sponsored the Class of 1981 and spent many, many days, evenings and weekends creating the decorations for the Jr.-Sr. Prom. We kept Bill Miller in business during that time. Lots of great memories at Jefferson High.
George never hesitated to get involved in helping out when called upon to do things for the student body. 
May perpetual light shine upon him now and may he Rest In Peace.

Coach Ramirez was the best teacher and swimming/ water polo coach ever! He try to teach me Spanish (never got it lol) and he never gave up on me. Thank you for always pushing me to do better in my life! You and your family were my family too I loved them all! Sending prayers to the family for contort and peace! Coach you are now in Heaven with our Lord and Savior! Your Dancing and having fun! You will be missed Coach!
